This works, except everytime I use it the first two words generated by the [Server Relative URL] workflow lookup are squished together into one word. Subsequent words in the string that have spaces between them get "%20"s between them. This only happens when I wrap the link in an <a> tag.

Hi -- sorry if this is a silly question, but why not just have one ClientCode field and put it in a repeating group?
So you know, there isn't a way to copy / paste in the data source, but you can use a reference to have two fields with the same name....

I added a new field for the Submitter's user name in the main data source. I added a rule that runs on form open to populate that with the username, if it is blank. I modified the submt connection to submit via rules. I added rules and a couple more email submits to show you what I mean. Hope this helps.

This (and some other so-called "new features") really bugs me about IP 2010.
While I do realize that you can create the rules like you mentioned, it is stupid because what is the point of the automatic load of a data source if you can't specify what the parameters are when it does it?

Right click the link in this post's header, and save the XSN locally, then right click and select Design to open in design mode. You can preview and add items to the bulleted ...

We have an Infopath 2007 form using managed code and that is hooked up to a SQL 2005 database. The database consists of 1 main table(unique ID field, identity), and 5 sub-tables linked to the main table on the same unique ID contained in the main table. We have a Main Menu view, with multiple views underneath.
Let's say the user enters ...

Peter, did you ever find a way to do this? i'd like to do something similar.

You should be selecting the repeating nodes and removing those, not the children of the repeating nodes.
