I thought this was an easy solution, but so far I have not been able to find anything wrong. I have fields that have data validation applied to them, and show the dashed red border when invalid data is entered. However, even when this invalid data is entered, the form still gets submitted. Any help on this? I thought this was straightforward ...

Where is the value coming from? Is it manually entered by a user? Copied from somewhere? You should most likely be able to set up a rule with a set of conditions to overwrite the field's own value or (probably better) set an other field's value with the number of KiB, MiB, GiB, TiB, etc.

One issue with generating an ID when the form opens -- most methods suggest getting the max ID currently in use and incrementing... but what happens if I open a form, and the ID I get is 2, and you open a form before I submit mine? You also get an ID of 2. You really need to consider using a SQL table where you can "reserve" an ID for ...

Actually.... there is.
You'll need a field in your repeating data source that has something you can filter on -- like maybe the category name? Then, in the properties for the repeating control, you can set a specific default value for that field when the user inserts a new row / section. Then add conditional formatting to each of your tables. ...

I have 25 views in my form. In design mode, i can change views without any problems from the Views menu. I published the form to MOSS and then opened it, the Page Views section of the ribbon displays the views, but when I click on them nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced this or know how I can fix?
Thanks

To get it zero filled, concat a field with four zeroes onto the front of the ID number field, then use the 'substring' function to grab the four right-most digits. Concatted field: 00002, after substring: 0002
So, if you have a larger number it would look like this: 0000102, and the substring would look like this: 0102

I don't think this is possible... you probably will have to bind your 3 repeating tables to 3 different data sources... Anyone else has an idea of how this could be achieved with only one data source?
-
They are bound to the same data source. Is there anyway to achieve what I am trying to do as explained in my initial post by pointing the 3 repeating tables to the same data source?

To have the increment ID, create a Data connection to your sharepoint library, with only the column ID taken from it. Then, set the default value of your field to Max([ID from the data connection])+1. For the "0001" thing, i do not know how to do this. Maybe someone else could help?

Is this 3 different repeating tables? I mean are they bound the the same data source or to different data source? It should not do this if there is a different data source for each repeating table... Could you include your form so we can have a look at it?
