Last » Re: Autopopulate email subject line I re-checked your form and noticed that the form's name is saved under the type of distribution selected. To simply put it, it will not overwrite the XML file on your SharePoint Library if the Form Name changes (distribution type has been changed). In order to have this form overwrite the XML file on your SharePoint Library, you ... For the second issue, since your form creates a File Name every time it is accessed, you would need to configure each rule which sets the File Name to only run when the field FormName is blank. This should prevent ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by donstephen on 09-09-2013 Re: adding additional information on submitted form Hi Tim Tim Tim, I have attached a sample which allows re-submitting/forwarding the form via e-mail. Basically, what you should look into is the hidden section that is only available after the form has been submitted, and the Button Properties which uses Rules and Custom Code rather than a Submit action. There are other approches you ... Posted to General (Forum) by donstephen on 09-03-2013 Re: SQL timeouts in IP 2010 Hi oldradio99, Sorry for the confusion, the code provided is in C#. VB Script is a bit different with Visual Basic, and the code you're using won't work as a Visual Basic code. I recommend using the previous code in C# for your SQL query connection. Let me know if this helps. I was able to find a good video tutorial which explains the basics of pulling data onto a Report Form or a Dashboard. This guide shows how select columns, how to filter the data you wish to query, and other techniques. Now this is only a simple view of the ... Hi Danilo, On the PDF tutorial Patrick provided, it contains a guide on how to submit a Person/Group Picker to a SharePoint list (see page 46). The guide shows how to submit the specific value a People Picker control, but if you are only attempting to submit the DisplayName, the column should not be Person or Group type (see image ... Posted to General (Forum) by donstephen on 08-29-2013 Re: Autopopulate email subject line Hi remigiuszmarian, If you are getting that sandbox solutions message, then it means that the form has code in it. Was the code added intentionally, or did you accidentally hit the "edit form code" button? Once you do this, it adds code to the form and requires publishing through the Sandbox or Central Admin. You may ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by donstephen on 08-28-2013 Re: Integrating SharePoint project task list and Infopath. Hi Mehfuz, To my understanding, you are encountering issues integrating a SharePoint task list with InfoPath, and querying data from SQL, DBXL. However, we are unable to determine exactly which part of the design you are having trouble with, and which specific type of error or issue are you encountering. We ... To my understanding, the form needs to query the list of team members. I would recommend using CAML or qRules in order to map and aggregate the form in the library to a SharePoint List (we have previously discussed CAML on one of our webinars - here ). The ...
