I'd extract the form source files (change .xsn to .cab, then copy the files out to a new folder) and open up manifest.xsf with a text editor. See if you can find anything referencing ruleSet_26 and remove that.
-
You'll need to go look in the Repeating control's properties (right click the repeating section and select the properties menu option). Select the Modify button, then Edit Defaults - you can modify whether the children are inserted when the group is inserted.

Okay, looks like we were cross posting. Glad you got it figured out.

I don't know what this means:
... my xPath doesn't work for 3.j.(1) and 3.j.(2) and 3.k.(1) and 3.k.(2).
I do see that rules are throwing an error message. Is that what you mean? Can you tell me why you decided to go back to rules instead of default values? I'm sorry, I'm just really confused again by what you are trying to do. ...
-
Okay, wait, so you decided to go back to using rules instead of defaults like the sample I did for you yesterday?
-
Can you give me a hint as to where I should be looking? If you right click the field in the data source task pane and select Copy XPath and paste it in a reply I'll be able to find the field.
-
This is relative XPath - it is relative to the node you are on. Are you trying to create a default value? Where is my:id in relation to the field that has the default? Or are you working on a calculated value (expression box) or is this a condition on a control?
Here is info on relative XPath: http://www.tizag.com/xmlTutorial/xpathrelative.php

Select the correct Code node in the first drop down, then in the third drop down use the formula editor - type in the formula. ../ is relative XPath - each ../ takes you up one level. I can't see from your screenshot what field this formula is for, so can't guess the correct XPath.

Oh - I see - I hadn't realized your secondary data had repeating fields. If you want the same structure in your main data source, I think you'll need to make field29 (for example) in your main DS repeating, then add instances in the default data and set default values again.

Right click the id field in the data source task pane. Select "Reference". In the dialog that opens, select the group where you want the other instance.
