I have a form with an auto-resizing textbox. There are three views on it (Default, Read-only and Print View). I put text until the textbox limit before it expands. I click "Print View". In the Print View, everything works fine, but when I click "Print Preview", some characters do not appear in the textbox (and ...

  • Re: Query Builder "and or" structure

Just position your cursor where userName() is currently located, delete the text userName() and use the Insert Field... dialog to insert the DisplayName field into the formula.  That should do the job.

  • Re: How do I fix "The string '' is not a valid AllXsd value"

The date picker's format doesn't matter.  If you're using a date picker, then the underlying data is most likely in the right format. Did you do as I suggested and turn off the "Query when form is opened" option for that data connection?  I think that's the cause of the problem.

  • Re: Uploading InfoPath form template stuck

Well, a year later and I still have this problem.  After installing SP2 and several reboots over the year, the issue still remains.  I tried the post above but that did not help.  I have a simpler farm 1 front end and 1 backend (SQL Server) server.  I know they used to be able to approve forms because there is ...

  • Re: Help with design logic and what to use for checkbox conditions

Thanks- What I am struggling with is the if action= true, then show section or group..  I have a formating rule created for the section which says if that checkbox = true, but I am unsure how to create actions on the true condition, such as "then show section"  I'll start following the tutorials. Thank you!

  • Read Only Copy

Using InfoPath, a workflow is started.  For each step in the workflow, different teams or people have active tasks pending at different times.  This all works as desired which means person 1 creates, person 2 validates, person 3 might have to do some testing and then post results, person 2 takes actions based on results, workflow ...
