• Re: Need to reorder repeating sections - note: NOT rows in a repeating table

Yes, the descriptions are coming from the my:Activities group, which, along with my:Code, I set up using InfoPath's Default Values dialog. The logic in the form comes from: All three repeating fields being bound to the same my:Activies group Section controls inside the third repeating section, all also bound to the my:Activities ...

  • Re: Duplicate Columns in Form View - Help!

Hi Misterchris, I already had this problem, it's really annoying
Infopath seems to have created duplicate columns for the promoted fields - this appears to happen randomly. I see no way to keep Infopath from doing this.
The best way to prevent it, is to check on each field that ...

  • Re: Quiz using Infopath

Hi ergnagaraj, you can use the "Fx" button on default value and then use a formula. in your case you can use sum() function and select all the fields you want to calculate. After that when you publish your form, you can add your total column to a sharepoint column.

Hi Jimmy - Thanks!  (And yes, I tried to council them against the references to people but they wanted to go that route anyway.)  I am going to play with this a bit.  I am still not 100% sure where the descriptions are pullling from but they appear to mapped to the repating values in 'Activities'.

Here's a form that does what you describe.  But the way your categories have people's names in them suggests that these categories might be modified quite often.  Is that the case?  If so, I think a more general approach may be in order.

Have you thought about using option buttons for this? With option buttons you can only select one.

Thanks, Joel Sandel

  • Disabling multiple controls within a section

Hey guys, so I have a section that contains 10 different options that can be chosen. Would like it set up so that if one of the options is chosen, the rest are disabled. Is there a way to do this at the section level? The alternative is to set up 9 individual conditions on EACH control stating that if one of the other items is checked...then ...
