  • Re: Set a checkbox based on a textbox value

Can the same principle be applied between two check boxes.   If I check one box, it checks another?    I can get the value on the second check box to be 'true', but the box won't show up as 'checked'.   I'm using InfoPath 2007.

  • Re: Trouble with setting rules on textbox

Hi Hillary,  I see what you have done, and that DOES make sense to me.  Although I don't think it will ultimately solve my problem.  The big reason I want a Pass or Fail recorded is so that I can "filter" or group my results in Sharepoint based on that field.  You have been very helpful, and I'm ...

Not sure.  I read the forum somewhere that you need to have full trust to enable other people update the database.  Maybe I am wrong?

  • Adding form details to an e-mail

Hi, I am currently designing an infopath form which will eventually be sent round various approvers before going to the actioner as part of a predefined workflow. However for the moment the business process is unclear so I actually for now I just want individuals to fill in the form and send it to people manually. For approval purposes it ...

  • Re: Can I load database table values into my form dynamically?

Hi -- You want to actually copy the data from your table into the main data source of your form? It sounds like you do, since you want the users to update information.... If your data source has 3 rows, a repeating table bound to it should display 3 rows. If it has 5 rows, it should show 5. I'm having trouble picturing your workaround.... ...

  • Re: Export to PDF dropping text

Well, since you seem to have infinite variation as to where the problem occurs, and yours doesn't seem to relate to length of content in any given control, it is kind of hard to provide any direction. Are you using a print view? Or is this a standard view that you export to PDF? With my form that gave me an issue, I found that removing the ...

  • Can I load database table values into my form dynamically?

Hi, Just wondering, if I have a Billing table in my database that has columns, ClientID, BillAmount, BillDate, can I populate these fields into my form dynamically? Dynamically in the sense, for example I want to retrieve Billing details from Client 12345 and there are only 3 bills to date, then I will have a 3x3 table. If I query on client 23456 ...
