Aren't those backwards in the formula? https://support.office.com/en-gb/article/Add-days-to-a-date-fe3d1c01-2409-43f1-bfc4-8d7f953247a6?ui=en-US&rs=en-GB&ad=GB&fromAR=1
I think you want addDays(today(), Reminder).

You bet - so, just in case you need some details (or in case someone else happens along this post and needs deets):
The count of the preceding repeating node returns a number of 0 or more (if this is the first row, it has no preceding siblings, after all) and by adding 1 we get the index for the current row.
In qRules, the Command node is just ...

Try this:
concat("ReplaceString /xpathsrc=/my:RCInspection/my:WorkOrders/my:WorkOrder[",count(../preceding-sibling::my:WorkOrder) + 1,"]/my:WO_TEXT /string1=|Q| /string2=", ../my:WOQty)"
I forgot to ask where the rule is running - it looks like on a field inside of WorkOrder (based on the relative path to WOQty). ...

Hi - You'll need to use the full path to WO_TEXT and use a count of preceding-sibling to get the right one. Can you right click WO_TEXT in the data source task pane and select Copy XPath? Paste the full XPath into a reply and I can help you.

You are setting the field to the query field value, not the data field. The query field is likely blank.

This is a list form? What is displayed in the list when you change the drop down to use ID for the value and structure for the display?
-
What I am trying to explain is that it appeared to me that you were running a query that would return only one item - so you should be able to set the field to the value of that column in the secondary data source without using an XPath filter at all.
-
Actually, in a SharePoint list form, a drop down is usually a lookup column in the list, I think ... So I'd expect the control wants the ID for the item you are choosing. What is your drop down set to in the drop down properties? I think the value should be the list item's ID. Can you give that a try?

You can use conditional formatting that hides something if a preceding-sibling has the same value - Here are preceding-sibling samples: http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/examples/tags/preceding-sibling/default.aspx
