Can you attach a sample XML file from the previous form and your XSN?
If you change a field name, even a little, and the form is set to upgrade existing XML, the data previously stored in the field will be lost. Do you have any backups you could restore from?

I change the name of a form field to correct a typo in it. As far as I knew there was no need to be backwards compatible and the forms were not stored. It turns out I was wrong, so the older forms are now missing some information. I changed the name of the field back and added back in the typo, however the forms as still not showing the data. I ...

I feel your pain!
InfoPath uses versioning, so it knows that you have different versions on your PC/fileshare & Sharepoint.

Hi,I'm sorry for how naive this post may sound, but I have not worked with InfoPath or SharePoint before. I had a two week SharePoint course a month ago that touched on InfoPath, but that's it. Now I have to modify a SharePoint application that uses nine InfoPath forms. It was written by a consulting firm almost ...

You can write code to copy the data from your secondary data source into your main data source. If you were able to add and remove items from a repeating table bound to a secondary data source, the next time the form loaded the data from the data source, everything would be just as it originally was -- since the secondary data source was ...
