Hi Bill, Did you convert your Web Service data connection into a universal data connection (UDC) and save to your data connection library?

If you navigate to the SAP Web Service in your browser can you see the Web Service Description? If you can, it's nto a timeout or certificate issue. I'd try that first to make sure you can access the Web Service. It's possible you have the wrong URL. I don't know anything about SAP Web Services. Are they SOAP or REST based?

Hi Eric and welcome, You can add a rule to the field that sets the field's value to the concat of the field and some other text. The Fx button will let you insert a concat function. From that you can double click to insert the field and the other text. Best of luck!

InfoPath allows you to Save As Source Files. To recab, you can just right-click and design the manifest.xsf file. It will save the solution as an XSN, i.e. CAB file again. No checksum is calculated, but some edits won't roundtrip. To ensure roundtripping, wrap the change in xdPreserve. Search for that on this site to learn more. Best of luck!

When you promoted those fields, did you let the wizard create new columns for you, or did you match them up with existing columns in your form library? When you try to edit your document, your metadata is present?  

 Hi, I don't think there is a setting for this. If you want to set the height you can add a table and set the minimum height on the row properties.
