• Re: Create TOC in Infopath form

that's a tough requirement as InfoPath forms are electronic and should be used to AVOID printing. I would try to do everything you can to find out what the real requirement is and try to meet it without printing. In the end, if they have to be printed, it's not a logical expectation for it to act 100% like a Word doc with ...

  • Re: Create TOC in Infopath form

What do you mean by page numbers? There aren't page numbers unless you're referring to each view as a "page," and you have manually assigned them page numbers. Even so, how would adding text add to the page numbers when adding text doesn't change views? Could explain in more detail what you mean?

  • Re: email form options

Send it how? You just open the template locally, fill it out, save it as an XML file, and then email it? You didn't build this form template? It's not published anywhere? I don't understand how it's functioning. Is everything you're doing just manual? You don't have it set to automatically ...

  • Re: Best way to pick multiple items from long list

If you can't use a multi-select list box, then maybe create a new text field plus a button. Have the user select the first item and press the button. Button RuleSet 1: Create a ruleset with a condition that checks to see if Field1 is blank If so, set the value of Field1 to the value of the dropdown selection Then, ...

Heh, well, I'm headed to work, and this is on my free time, so bear with me. If you can get Alec Pojidaev to help right away, then it might be worth a try. You can see a link to his blog on my blog (right-hand side).

  • Re: Using Contact Selector to Send Emails to Multiple Users

Well, it definitely works if you get it right. I would have to troubleshoot your XSN directly to figure out what is still wrong. It's easy to get the statement to compile without it actually being 100% right, since we're using so many contatenated items. I will review your statement later, but I probably need to see the ...

  • Re: email form options

Oh, ok, then that should be easy, but I need to know how the form is built. Is it published to "a set of email recipients"? It's not published to a network drive or to SharePoint, is it? How is the form created before it gets sent out as a report? What actions and what data connections are triggered ...

  • Re: email form options

Upgraded to what from what? In the Email Submit data connection wizard, you can choose for it to be embedded in the email or attached. Yours must be set to the attachment option. However, even if you try to embed, it requires Outlook 2007 to view it and interact with it, I believe. What do you mean that they can "change ...
