• Re: Sharepoint List / CAML Template

Hi neoware, I like the pictures, but I don't quite understand what your problem is. It looks like you are able to get a date picker control working on any of the fields you like, so I don't know what your problem is. Is there an error thrown when upon submission when you use date picker controls? If so, could you paste this for us, with ...

  • Re: Drop Down List 2nd value

Hi Aliena1983, If you manually populate the values of the dropdown there is no way to programatically access them. The reason the NodeList that you are getting has a length of one is because you are getting the value of the current selection in the drop-down, not the list of possible values. What you will have to do is move the possible values ...

  • Re: Filtering with current from an SQL database

Michael, I really think 12 posts in a row is a little unnecessary. E-mail me your form and I will reply with the XPath you need.

  • Re: Xpath code to filter by department

You should be able to sum all the entries for one department with XPath, try something more like this: sum(xdXDocument:GetDOM(''TOSSReceive'')/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:TOSS[@employeeDepartment = xdXDocument:GetDOM()/my:Root/my:DepartmentDropDown]/@monthlyExpenses) You need to compare the @employeeDepartment attribute to the value of the ...

  • Re: "sniffing" file header code of picture attachment

Assuming that you have the byte array of the actual file as stored on disk (without the extra header information that InfoPath tacks on when it is stored in the form as Base64), then you should be able to determine the filetype from the first 10 bytes. I found the following site that has some sample code that does this, but you should be able to ...

  • Re: Code Behind Button Rules

Hi edove, I believe the rules that InfoPath creates from the wizard dialog boxes are stored as XSL prodecures, so there is no way to see them in code form. However, there are several examples of performing this operations on the form's fields scattered throughout our forums. Try doing a search for ''set field'' or ''update field with code'' to ...

  • Re: Reading from Excell

It's probably going to be more trouble than it's worth to get your form to parse a CSV file - could you setup something in Excel to convert it to XML?

  • Re: Conditional format for integer

Hi Mr. Turnips, You might try this formula: textBoxField + 15 > textBoxField I don't know if this will work, but something similar might be a little easier to input. Let me know what you get working if you decide to change it from what it is now.

  • Re: Make red asterix disappear

I think what you are looking for is a Screentip, not data validation. First, remove the custom data validation that you inserted. Then, double-click on the textbox control, go to the Advanced tab and type your message into the Screentip field there. This will show up whenever the user hovers over the field, but will not show an annoying red ...
