  • Re: Flag Field After Digitial Signature Changed Event

As you might be aware, the Sign event is not available on InfoPath Forms Services. Why do you use this flag ? Perhaps you can do some check if your form is sign or not on the submit and modify your field consequently.

I'm sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I am just learing how to program. I was under the impression that for a browser enabled form, I was only able to use the Changed and Validating events. Please let me know if I'm wrong. Thank you for the time.

Ok, how do you create your event handler ? I think you create it with the field signature that's why you can't modify some field. I suggest you to create a new event on sign and try your code on it.

  • Re: Flag Field After Digitial Signature Changed Event

Thank you for your response.   I am trying to sign a section, not the entire form. The field is on the form, not the section that is being signed.

  • Re: Flag Field After Digitial Signature Changed Event

Hi, do you have enabled signature on all the form or just on specific data group? If your field is on a sign data block, you can't modify it because if you do that your signature will be invalid. You can create a new field on a data block that is not sign or deplace your current field to another xml location but if you ...

  • Re: Submit to a subfolder in SharePoint?

Any chance that instead of using subfolders, you could leverage some form information for grouping? For example, if your forms are specific to certain departments, you could promote the Department field, and then in your SharePoint view, you could group on Department, with the groups collapsed by default -- then users could look in the specific ...

  • Flag Field After Digitial Signature Changed Event

I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but please let me know where I can find the answer. I am trying to change a field after a signature is added to a form. Getting: "InvalidOperationException was unhandled by user code", "Operation is not valid, because of the current state of the object." Code: public void ...

  • Re: Rules triggered by Repeating section

The count() function is what you need: Condition: count(/path/to/repeating/group) = 1 Behavior: Hide dropdown box  What is it you want to use to dynamically populate the dropdown box?

  • Rules triggered by Repeating section

I'm developing a form with a number of repeating sections, and I was wondering if it is possible to use rules, conditional formatting or code to dynamically change a form based on how many instances of a repeating section there are. For example, Repeating Section 1 is Clients. If you have one client, there is one instance of the repeating ...

  • Rules and Data-Validation are greyed out in Repeating Tables

I'm using infopath 2003 and MSS 2003.  This morning when I went into my form in design mode to make a few changes I noticed my Data Validation/Rules buttons are greyed out in my repeating tables.  Any suggestions as to what could be causing this issue and how to correct it?
