  • Re: Double eval "trick" using SharePoint lists

Barry, I followed your steps but I get this error: Reference to undeclared namespace prefix: 'd'. Error occurred during a call to property or method 'Eval' For the "Refunds_Team", I'm selecting the repeating group within my secondary data source. Can't I use the XPath to refer to ...

  • Re: Double eval "trick" using SharePoint lists

I think your problem is in the Refunds_Team, you should use the Insert Field or Group, then select your datasource, then open dataFields and select d:SharePointListItem_RW then on concat should be d:Email_Address I would envision it looking like eval(eval(SharePointListItem_RW, 'concat(d:Email_Address,";")'), ...

  • Re: Double eval "trick" using SharePoint lists

Barry, Thanks for following up! Here's my function: eval(eval(Refunds_Team, 'concat(d:@Email_Address,";")'), "..") The "Refunds_Team" string is the SharePoint list and @Email_Address is the field I am trying to concatenate. This is the error I am getting: msxml5.dll Expected token ...

  • Re: Current User (Without Code) WSS 3

I've been using this method for sometime (on forms that aren't trusted) and it works ok. It's better if you then delete the created entry to keep the list 'clean'. The method however isn't fool proof and if there is a lot of simultaneous form users you can get the wrong entry i.e. created by is incorrect. Additionally, you ...

  • Re: How can I make Sharepoint open my infopath forms in the 2007 version?

Have you changed the settings on your computer to make InfoPath 2007 the default for opening XML?  Another way that might work is to open InfoPath 2007 and then open the XML directly within InfoPath although that is not a long term solution and is a manual solution so not easy to do all the time. There may be a way to add a custom ...

  • Re: Submit to a subfolder in SharePoint?

Thanks for this.  Should have read it before my last reply about the 2000 item limit.

  • Re: Submit to a subfolder in SharePoint?

Hi Hilary I thought MS advised that no container should exceed 2000 items.  Is that not the case?  Thanks Darryl

  • Re: Rules triggered by Repeating section

I suggest adding a FullName node to your repeating group and having its default value set to concat(GivenName, " ", Surname).  Then use this field as the items source for the dropdown box (look in the dropdown box's properties). No need for rules or code.

  • Re: qRules file name - SaveToSharePoint

I'm still pondering different scenarios for this issue.  Here is the latest and I will try to go in as much detail as possible.  I will start out with our current process. We have a ticketing system that allows multiple attachments and includes version control.  For example, I may attach ten different attachments, but for one ...

  • Re: Current User (Without Code) WSS 3

Ok, this is not really elegant, you can create a list and display the last created item first, then you add a new data connection that create an item to this list ie:http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2006/02/02/Add-SharePoint-List-Items-with-InfoPath.aspx after that, you create a new data connection to this list to get the username of ...
