InfoPath Dev

There should be plenty of samples floating around ye Olde Internet - here's one blog entry with 4 different approaches. :) http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2007/4-way-programmatically-add-row-repeating-table.htm

What I would do is add a calculated column to the SharePoint list that concatenates the Code and Description. Then use that new field for the display in the dropdown, while using the code for the value. Does that make sense?

Hi - this can be tricky, because InfoPath doesn't have any rules for inserting rows. Your options are:Code - this can be approached programmaticallyqRules - the company I work for has an InfoPath add in that can help with thisDefault values - if you know about how many max rows you'll be copying in, you can add ...

You'll probably need to use current() in there. :) What is the full XPath of your formula? In the formula editor you can select "Edit XPath" and then just paste the result.

Oh you bet, sorry about the bad news.... I'd go with three data connections to the same list. I think that would work. And if you are using InfoPath 2010 or 2013, you can filter each list connection to only return the type of vendors you want to display (don't query on load, set the query field for vendor type to In-House, Panel or ...

This can be done! Where you've selected your multiselect, you'd select the field from the 2ds with the display instead, then you'd add a filter to that. I've done up a simple sample. Save it locally, right click and select Design, then preview and select some months...

Oh gosh, I have seen this bug in InfoPath forms services before - is the repeating table on the form in more than one location? When I've seen this, it is because the repeating table is on the form more than one time, and the only thing I've found that resolves it is to only have the table on the form one time....

I'm going to guess it is the URL itself. I've found that I have to include some browser URL params in the link. Is the form published directly to the library? Or is it admin approved or a content type? Take a look at the URL in the address bar when you open a new form or reopen an existing form in the library, then create a similar ...

Well, I mean - the filter you are using works on the Vendor drop down, right? So I can't really think of any reason why it doesn't work on the contracts dropdown. It really doesn't make sense.
