• Count number of documents in library

Hi, We have been using incremental numbering on InfoPath forms which come from the number of documents in the library. However, i have noticed that it stops counting after 100 most likely due to the limit of documents that can displayed in each view. Is there a count function or something similar that wil let me count passed the 100 item ...

  • Re: Updating SharePoint list from Repeating Table (multiple records)

Not a full code but enough to give you an ideaXPathNodeIterator xnav = MainDataSource.CreateNavigator().Select("/my:IdeaBankFields/my:IdeaBankGrp/my:IdeaBank", NamespaceManager); while (xnav.MoveNext()) {XPathNavigator ideaNav = xnav.Current.CreateNavigator(); string postTitle = ...

  • Re: Cascading Dropdown list in repeating section

Hi Vishal, Thanks for the reply. Do you have example for this? As I'm not from programming background :( I tried code, which passing the value to temporary repeating field, but seems can't work because it still can't pass the value to the repeating field. Thanks :)

  • Re: Action Not Working?

Sorry was just using hypothetical names. The rule works, but is there any "easier" method then creating that rule individually for 50+ fields?

  • Re: Action Not Working?

In you initial post, I thought you said fieldzz was "read only"? Did I misunderstand? At any rate, as soon as the field CHANGES, your rules will run. But if the field starts as blank and remains blank, no rules will run.

  • Re: Action Not Working?

Hmm, thats the way I've been doing it currently, but whats the most efficent way of doing this? this is currently what i'm doing: Fieldzz is a input field Fieldxx is a read only field Fieldyy is a data store field First Rule on Fieldzz -> if fieldzz is not blank set fieldxx to fieldyy Second ...

  • Re: Action Not Working?

Okay -- but the concept is still the same -- the rule to set the value must be on a field that changes. So if fieldzz never changes (as it is read only -- you'd have to be changing it with another rule, since the user can't change it) the rule never fires.
