• Re: Action Not Working?

I am afraid this will sound snarky -- but perhaps you should rethink your design? I'm just perplexed as to why a form would have a field that gets set to a specific value based on 50 different fields -- I could see a single field that gets the new value from a data source based on what is input, that I get.... At any rate, if 50 different ...

  • Re: Disable drop-down box recalculation from code

If you can share your form, attach it to a reply (under the Options tab) and I'll take a quick look and see if I can see what might be changing the field. You don't have any code in this form, do you?

  • Duplicating rows in Repeatable tabe

Hi There, I have two identical repeating tables A and B. I use conditional formating to change the appearance of the two tables. Table A is only used for viewing data and the user cannot edit the data. Table B (which basically shows nothing and only has an "insert item" command at the bottom ) is only used to enter ...

  • Re: Effect of Republishing a template with changed rules for a control such Text box

It sounds to me as if you need two drop downs bound to the same field. On uses List A for the items, the other uses List B. Then use conditional formatting to display the correct drop down control. But, at this point, I'm super confused as to what you are trying to do, so I may not be pointing you in the correct direction....

  • Re: When updating the form template and publishing, the old forms are updated.

Ernesto, Thanks for the link, but it does not seem to be working for us. We need the forms we created in the past to stay the same, while the forms created after we publish to have the new changes.... all in the same document library. We are using browser based forms... When we select ...

  • Re: Calculating Fields based on a value

You can also use qRules to do this. Just use the Insert command to insert 5 rows, and then use an ordinary rule or default value to set your field to the value of the formula field2 div field1.

  • Re: Simple Code to Add Row

It would be the same, but without the parentheses (replace the first one with a space): http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/jimmy/archive/2009/03/06/automatically-adding-rows-to-repeating-sections.aspx

  • Re: Effect of Republishing a template with changed rules for a control such Text box

Scenario: When a button is pressed in a form, it runs certain rules. One of the rules fills the name of a person automatically from a SharePoint list based on a certain field (category) as was filled out in an earlier section of the form. Because of some addition of new members, for this action I might have to direct it to a different SharePoint ...

  • Re: Calculating Fields based on a value

Hi jappiej and welcome to this forum. I think you have to use some code to do that. You can use a repeating table and create rows programatically. If you want I can give you some help for that.
