  • Re: Problem disabling a button in repeating section

I don't understand why you are using code for this? Is the button inside the repeating section? I'm pretty sure that you can use a rule to set a field's value and it will only set the current field, as long as the button is inside the repeating section....

  • Re: Copy field values in Repeating Section

Yes that's correct. By rule, do you mean simply setting a fields value as itself as a normal rule on a button click event? As I've tried that with no luck unless I'm doing something wrong. I assumed qRules was needed to specify which row you were copying to and from. Thanks again

  • Web interface or Web part for Sharepoint-Infopath forms

We have had some user-end issues and it seems some are new to sharepoint so they would like a web like interface for the forms we have created on sharepoint. For example, they have a difficulty to find the forms that are usually listed on the left panel. Is it possible to create a web like interface for the users using the current forms. Where ...

  • Re: using a run query button on a secondary view

Worst case -- put all your views on your default view in separate sections. Then add a field to your data source (or use a secondary XML data source) simply to control which section is displayed. The buttons that switch between views simply set the field that the conditional formatting for the sections is based on. I use this a lot to get around ...

  • Show / Hide Form Parts for a Newbie

We are trying to design a Technical Support Request form and would like to have some text entry fields appear or disappear based on setting they have previously entered.  For the life of me I can't figure out how to do this.  If you have instructions or an example to share then we would be in your debt.  Regards,  Mike ...

  • Re: AttachToSharePointList

On the AddAttachment data connection, when specifying the tns:listName, I had used the actual name of the list which had spaces in it.  I replaced this name with the 32 character id of the list and that took care of it.

  • Re: qRule Repeating Table..

Okay, now I have enough info to actually help you. Thanks! As to View 1 -- how are you handling getting the info from your form to the list? Do you already have something in place? Or were you planning on using qRules? If you were planning on using qRules, I'd have a repeating group that contained all the fields you are using in view 1. If ...

  • Re: Copy field values in Repeating Section

Hi Ryan, If you're just copying one field into another, then a rule might be enough (i.e. Set a field's value). CopyTable will copy the entire table (which doesn't sound like what you're trying to accomplish). The command Insert might help, since it can take a value and insert it into another xpath. So, to be clear, you ...

  • Re: Link to (another) Infopath form
