Hi, you can use 2 controls and 2 fields one drop down and one text box and you make conditionnal formatting to display the good control. By defaut you hide your text box but if the value is "Other" you display it and you hide your drop down.

Hi,
I wanted to make a dropdown list of department names, and if 'Other' is selected, I wanted to allow the user to enter in a custom department name that is not on the list. Is there a way to do this in the dropdown list only (I am using IP 2003)?
Thanks!

3. Yes, that looks right.
4. C# seems to be the more ...
