Okay. So the fields on your form that are displaying these values are always showing the first row. The reason is most likely because your secondary data source contains all the rows from your form library.
Drag the data fields (all of them) from the secondary data source onto your form and preview the form. Do you see a lot of rows? Or just ...

Thank you, I need to pursue it and was wondering if anyone had traveled this road. I was hoping to lift from their effort. I set out on this task with no intention of writing code, so far pretty successful. In january I hope to convince admin to move to QRules. At this point just not sure how to proceed to make the strings work to monitor text ...

I finally got to try this today and it worked for the first URL in the repeating table... Is there a way to make it repeat and capture the ids of all the attachments?

This would be one of the rare occasions when I'd say to use CAML and a Submit connection to the UpdateListItems method of the SharePoint Lists service. Normally, I'd say "use qRules!" because it is much easier if the scenario is complex, but you want to save a single value.

Repeating table: ...

I need to store and retrieve a single value each time an InfoPath Form is opened. The value is the next number to be utilized for a purchase Order. My first thought was to save a dummy InfoPath form in addition to the real form with a consistent name and rewrite the value to be utilized. I tried making a data connection to an existing InfoPath XML ...

Im kinda stuck on this issue and im hoping someone here has some advice to help me out.
I have a IP form that allows users to submit new cost savings project ideas and submitting the form kicks off a kinda complex approval workflow up to 4 approvers depending on the department, etc. Everything works great up until it is rejected. ...

Hi, Chris:
What logic would you base your selection off of? Would the user click a button next to that row? If you had a "copy" button in your repeating table, you could just have the user click it to set values in your main data source, no qRules required for that. I'm attaching a simple sample form. To use the sample, right click ...
