Hi:
Per the emails you sent me, it seems as if you have a few different data sources that would be used to provide options to the user in the drop down based on who the user is.
One option would be to have a number of drop down controls on your form, each bound to the same field, and each using different data sources for their items. Then use ...

Hi Kevin,
Yes, DBXL Services is exactly the product that you need.
I would be happy to talk to you about DBXL and explain how it works and can also give you a live demo to show you how easy it is to use.
If you send me a private message via the forums with your contact information I can call you to discuss.

I'm afraid I have no insight into the touch capabilities, but you are correct about the link between IP and IE -- InfoPath leverages Internet Explorer's rendering engine (more info here and here). I am going to see if we can get a link to this post to someone on the InfoPath team, perhaps they'll have some information.

Hello,
I made a form in wich users can make a choice by a dropdown box for a certain time when they are available. The results go to a Sharepoint DocLib, so fa so good. But when the next user the form opens i want that he can only see times not chosen by others. Each time can select only once. Is this possible?

Dear InfopathDev community:
I am taking a look at the different Qdabra products and I think what I need is Qdabra DBXL Services, but I can't quite make my decision from the product descriptions or feature matrix alone. I have some browser-based infopath forms whose data I want to store in a SQL db for scalability and reporting ...
