Hi Ben,
What about the alignment for a surrounding section or table? I'll ask Greg to respond since he has deep knowledge about alignment issues but in general it doesn't work perfectly in Outlook because of the different rendering engines (Word vs. Trident).

I think you should be using absolute paths, i.e. a centrally located data connection library.
We've run into the same issue lately with 2010 - we thought we could use relative paths, but even after manually modifying the XSF it didn't work so well and it was a hassle to manually modify.
UDCX files are a best practice. Relative ones ...

Hi HighlandGirl5,
I think you may have stumbled on a bug in how InfoPath handles the escaped data. The code is un-escaping it but the InfoPath UI doesn't - it just treats it as a string. It's possible there is some kind of encoding trick that would help here. We at Qdabra have this Active Directory Web Service (ADWS) that I believe works ...

InfoPath will try to connect to the server if it is online. That's default behavior.
To offline this, you'll want to take the data from SQL and place it in an XML file that you include in your XSN (as a resource). Then you won't have to worry about a reconnect on load. Of course, you won't get any updates either but that's the ...

Hi Ian,
Are you saying that you have a bunch of XMLs and you want to import them another XML that you are using for reporting?
If you haven't created the InfoPath forms, you could start from the XSD for the FusionChart Gantt but I'm guessing it's too abstract.
Best bet would be to translate XML from your InfoPath forms into your ...

Probably has something to do with the default IE security on your WinXP machines. Doesn't make much sense though since you are doing it from an admin account. Anyway, this is an IE issue, not an InfoPath one.

Hi ABColson,
ShowDialog is a modal dialog box. You are interrupting the OnBeforeChange event and thereby preventing the InfoPath UI thread from getting any more UI input. You should not be putting ShowDialog() calls in your event handlers. That's definitely not a good practice since it blocks all UI from happening until the modal dialog box ...

Hi CToper11,
I believe it just uses the default view. You can get it to give you a filtered list if you use the FilterOwssvr trick. Search this site (see Custom Search Page link above) or google the world to learn more about FilterOwssvr.
Good luck!

Hi Krzysztof Deneka,
I believe the toolbar support went away with the addition o the ribbon UI. You can conigure the ribbon UI but I believe code is required to interface to InfoPath.
Here's another idea: add buttons to your repeater that do the remove/insert commands using qRules. qRules allows you to remove or insert a row in a ...

Hi Omar,
I don't think the browser forms support this.
