I've changed the name but I can't seem to change the typo in the URL? I'm going round in circles I'm using Infopath designer 2013 and Sharepoint 2016 Any ideas?

Thanks Hillary, that will not work, because the main connection goes to the repeating field and the Contract Value should be written to one entry in another list. I'm looking into Web Services as an option.

So - if you are storing the ID, I'd expect to see this if the control was not a dropdown (i.e., you displayed the value in a calculated value or a text box) OR if the query to get the data for the dropdowns was not running when the form was opened. Any chance I can see your template? You can attach it to a reply under the options tab.

I'd probably use Flow for this.... or SharePoint Workflow. Is that an option?

Oh, I'm confused again. :) So - this is the SharePoint List ID field you are talking about? Obviously, your form has to have been saved to the library to have an ID.... you are saying the built in ID column in the library doesn't have a value? Or is this a promoted property that is supposed to contain the same value as the list ID?

Ok - so are you saying you have this resolved? Or are you still having an issue? What happens when you try to submit the form the 17th time?

Yeah, that's what I'd try. I have done this in browser forms - but not in list forms. So you may run into other issues. But it is simple & quick to try, given your requirements.
