Hi, thanks for replying.
Here is the syntax of my button command:
SubmitToSharePointList /submit=ShPSubmit /mapping=mapping /id=my:ID /dsname=AddAttachment /xpath=my:attachments/my:attachmentFile /uniqueName=yes
It is a repeating table, and the name of the field is "ID."
Thanks,
Carolyn

Where is your XML submitted? SharePoint Library? With SharePoint 2010, you can add a data connection to the library your form submits to and select to get back information about just the current item. That should get you the Title field, which should be your file name..... you'd need to use a concat formula to include the extension if you need ...

New to this. My question is how do you get a textbox that is on your form to pull in the file name that your working in. I have a form that needs the file name pulled into it and was wondering how you can do that without getting into the coding behind it using VB or C#. If can be done, would like to know how. Using IP 2010.

Lou87,
This is easy after you spend 4 hours of your life trying to change the source code just go to the connection box and add the new connection . Before hitting the the finish button just go to the edit SQL option in the connection box and put as an alias the old table name. This will fix the problem.
Thanks,

Hi -- that link is incomplete -- you need to have the List GUID, and a few other parameters. The URL should look something like:
http://server/_vti_bin/owssvr.dll?Cmd=Display&List={1CC3F2DD-4251-4A98-9BC9-E584496C0727}&XMLDATA=TRUE
With your server URL and your List GUID. Please refer to page 2, item C, bullet 2 in the document Ernesto ...

Can I use FilterOwssvr against the Secondary data source after the sorttable?

Forgive me if this is explained somewhere else (I AM still digging around)...
I am completely new to InfoPath in a SQL Server/Sharepoint environment.
We are running SQL 2008, Sharepoint Enterprise 2007, Infopath 2007. I am the portal/sql admin.
I am recreating several PDF forms in Infopath and saving the resulting input to SQL ...

Hi All, I am trying to change my InfoPath 2007 data connection from a test environment to a production environment. The tables are located in a SQL 2008 database; both tables share the same field names but have different table names. I am able to change the connection from a test environment to production environment when the table names ...

You can filter a SharePoint list on the server using qRules (read more here). CopyTable cannot filter when copying, unfortunately.

That worked. Other than I need to change the order to ASC.
This is a browser form. I'd love to be able to find a way to filter this dropdown list to only those whose Content_type = "Person" and Name contains "*HS"
I can do this using a caml query and the U2U tool. Sample .caml file ...
