I purchased Qrules today having looked at some of the features and services it offers. I setup the demo Date difference that comes as part of the setup files and it is all working except that the number of days between my start date and end Date are coming out as negative number even though my second (End Date) is beyond my Start Date. I can't ...

I think I'd add another field (True / False, default to false) and add a rule to my button that I'm using for my query to set that field to True -- then you could hide your data fields section if that field was not equal to true.
I'm kind of perplexed that the questions won't show if adding / removing is disabled. However, you ...

Thanks so much for your response, Hilary! I hope you can help me out.
Yes, the first set of input boxes are query fields, where the user is instructed to type their name and then hit the query button, which says "Lookup your Info". Once the user queries their info then the info data field shows their info, and the response ...

Hi! I've created a form that gets submitted via an email to a shared inbox and also gets logged on a sharepoint site. Within the form, there is a hyperlink that opens up a new email which is suppose to reply all. When you say "update an existing record in the table", I think you mean update the XML with the latest from the SharePoint list. Is that correct?
If so, you can do this with the RefreshSharePointListItems command. Generally, I'd suggest setting this command on the finishedLoading node of the QdabraRules data source -- when ...

The submit attachment is working now. The problem was the XPath to your attachment field like you said. I think I was the one who was confused. :-) Thank you.
As I read further in the document, it seems that if someone wants to update an existing record in the table, they would have to look up the ID number of the line, then return to the ...

I am utterly confused at this point.
I believe you are having issues with your SubmitToSharePointList command because you do not have the correct XPath to your attachment field. I do not understand what the owssvr.dll link for the Refresh command has to do with this issue. Perhaps you can tell me?

Have you considered just running a repair of your InfoPath install? Your screenshots show Visual Studio 2010 in one -- are you trying to create a new IP project in VS2010? 'Cause VS2010 doesn't have an IP template. If you want to use Visual Studio, you'll need to use 2008 or 2005. Otherwise, you'll want to use VSTA. It seems like ...

Hi, Max, and welcome!
Let's see. When they look up their name, they are filling out query fields, right? Can you hide the data section if those fields are blank? I haven't worked with a database bound form in a while, so I can't recall if querying clears the query fields after the query is performed....
I think you don't want to ...
