I think if you save your list as a template, under the advanced settings, you can then create another list from that template - and customize the form for that list.... does that make sense?

On another list, I have a different form for each contact type. I don’t remember having to create a form for each. I thought I built one and used it to create all the others.
Thanks for your help.

Oh. It is a list form. I'm sorry, it never occurred to me that you meant it was an actual list form - I don't think there is a way to have multiple InfoPath forms for the same list. I think you'd just have to create various views in your list form and give your users a way to select which "form" they want to fill out.

So - you are going through the entire publish wizard and not just using quick publish? I'd think you would need to go to the File > Publish > SharePoint menu, and walk through publishing to be able to publish as a new content type. You can attach a screenshot under the Options tab if that helps explain the issue.

I’ve save a copy of the form from Content type 1 and opened in design mode, made the changes for content type 2 but when I click Publish I don’t get the wizard to choose which content type to load too. It just changes the content type 1.
thanks,

I am so happy to have been able to help - I can't tell you how long it took me to find the "Any" and "All" occurrence dropdowns - that is one well hidden feature (I think a colleague actually had to show me those....). Have a great day!

Hello Hilary,
Thank you for your answer. I never use qRules and FormsViewer but i will learn them. And thank you for video too :)

Hilary, you are AMAZING! That was just the nudge I needed to get it! I was able to streamline it once I realized you could change a select "VALUE" (when selecting a multi-select group) to selecting ANY OCCURRENCE OF VALUE or selecting ALL OCCURRENCES OF VALUE... not to mention the "sum" and "count" options! Once I had ...
