I have created a form for my work where the employee can fill in time off and send it to their manager.
I need to put in the form a place where the manager can approve or decline it. What is the best way to implement this feature? Can the form add an approve and decline button after the employee sends it?

I'm not sure what you mean by "nothing is happening" -- which field is supposed to be set to what? Are you setting the value in your Total field in code, perhaps, and overwriting the default value?
