With a filler form, set to use C#, that has a using System.Windows.Forms statement at the top of the code file, add code to your button:
string text = this.MainDataSource.CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:field1", NamespaceManager).Value;
Clipboard.SetText(text);
See the part in bold that says ...

I'm not sure there is going to be an out of the box way to achieve this - you'd need to filter the target of the rule, which can be done by manually modifying the manifest, but it can be tricky.

Yes, I understood I wouldn't be able to preview the form. Often I can look at the rules and other settings and see what may be going wrong. Can you attach a screenshot that shows how "all fields got blank and I cannot select any other choice" as I don't understand that. If the rule is on Current_floor to clear Current_desk, it ...

So - the first checkbox selected would copy into the first TextCopy field, the second into the second TextCopy field, etc? What happens if I go back and deselect the first checkbox? The TextCopy field should be cleared? Then what? If I select another checkbox, does it copy into that now blank TextCopy field?
Is it that we always copy into the ...

Based on your description, I'd think you just need a rule on Floor to set Desk to blank when it changes. Can I see a copy of your form? You can attach it under the Options tab in a reply.

If you want more than one instance of a repeating section when you open a new form, you can set that in the default values - Data tab in the Ribbon, look for Defaults... find your repeating group and insert new instances.

If I'm confused about the actual value of a control, I add a calculated to the form that displays the value of the field. Then when I select an option, I can see what is actually being stored. Once I have my rules sorted out, I can remove the calculated value. Sometimes I'll just drag all the data fields from the data source I'm ...

You have three TextCopy fields. You can have infinite "Textbox" and "Checkbox" fields, and infinite sections. What should happen if I click the 4th checkbox in the third section, for example? That's why I keep asking you to explain what you are trying to achieve here - since it seems unlikely to me that this sample form is ...

Well - the structure here is different from the initial sample you sent me. That means the conditions need to change in the rules. What I was wondering was what is the actual problem you are trying to solve with copying text from repeating fields into non repeating fields via checkboxes? Perhaps there is a better way to do what you want.

So - can you explain to me the general problem you are trying to solve here? Because the approach you are taking doesn't really make any sense to me.....
