Hi diaboloche, You might want to check out this HowTo for setting up namespaces:http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=ed2cf0c5895f468995cdd081cf17fead

  • Re: Execute button in code for consuming web service

Hi Eugene, I believe I answered this is another post, but can't seem to find it now. What you have to do is move the code in the OnClick of the button to its own function and then call that from the OnClick and anywhere else you need it executed. If your button is using rules you'll have to convert those rules to code and use the aforementioned ...

  • Re: Document hierarchy and relationships

Hi Ben, Patrick was showing me a new project we have been working on the other day called the Base Form and it includes something that should solve your needs. This Base Form allows you to create a taxonomy between forms through the use of tagging. I'll give him an e-mail and ask him to respond here since he knows much more about it than I do.

  • Re: Full Text Search atachments

Ah, this will no doubt be very difficult. Maybe you could create some kind of SharePoint event handler that each time a form is submitted it opens the XML, extracts the base64, converts it to a text-readable format, and then submits it to a seperate database that has full text search enabled. This is going to be a lot of work, but maybe you can ...

  • Re: Full Text Search atachments

Hi Alexander, I'm not sure I understand your question here. Do you mean the attachments that are stored within a File Attachment control in InfoPath or some other kind of attachment such, as the XML form itself? For the latter, you could use our Database Accelerator product which provides a search functionality for just that scenario. If you ...

  • Re: Webexport

Hi Philippe, Sorry for the delay in response, the holidays have had us away from our computers. This should be doable, but I'm not sure if it will require Full Trust or not. Take a look at the Window.CommandBars object. The following tutorial describes how to edit the command bars, but I think I remember that you are able to invoke a command ...

  • Re: Copy or duplicate data groups or steps

Hi Mr. Turnip, I don't know of an easy way to copy+paste schema elements, which is unfortunate. You might try to use a repeating section instead, even if you have to stretch the nodes a little. Regardless, you're data source should be THAT big - you might also want to consider splitting to a new form.

  • Re: Repeating Section Checkbox Does Not Work

Hi bbzz24, and welcome to the forum! The problem here is not with the data, but with the XSL that is displaying the data. I though that if you righ-click and drag the field that you want to display as a checkbox and then select it from the list, it should work correctly. However, if this doesn't work you can manually edit the XSL of the view to ...

  • Re: Pass Document Library Id To Form

Have you looked at what is contained in the XDocument.Solution.URI variable? I haven't done this myself, but I believe you should be able to extract the information you are looking for from this variable. You might have to do some substring manipulations, but it should be there. Depending on what you're doing with this information, you will ...

  • Re: XPath help needed

Hey Shaun, My intuition is telling me that we need to find the correct place to call current() - but since you said you've tried all of these combinations I don't know what else to do. Below is my stab at it, but if it doesn't work I don't know what else to do. Maybe if you made a simple sample form and e-mailed it I could figure it out. ...
