• Microsoft

This is a question aimed specifically at those of you who work for microsoft: Has microsoft considered purchasing forms developed by InfoPath users and then selling them to similar industries?

  • Re: Exporting Infopath data to word?

alright, this form is an operative note generator used for billing processes. Pre operation, during the operation, and post op, the doctor is entering information about the patient. In the healthcare industry (at least at my hospital) every encounter with the patient is documented and put in their EMC (electronic medical chart). the billers ...

  • Re: question about Edit:Undo

no code was involved, all the editing was done in dialog boxes. i added a bunch of rules inside some button controls, cut and pasted the buttons inside an optional section, and then pasted the optional section inside a repeating section. problem is, when i cut and pasted the buttons, the rules disappeared. my options were to redo the rules, or ...

  • Exporting Infopath data to word?

ALright, I have been working on a note generating form for one of the doctors here at the hospital. The data entry part is almost done, and Im starting to think of how I am going to accomplish the note part. Currently, we do not have enough security clearance to link our database up with the hospitals central database, so what we are planning on ...

  • repeating section retains optional section propert

I found this bug/trick today. Bind a repeating section to Table1 and insert your controls. Next, bind an optional section to Table1 (outside of the repeating section). Open it up, change the properties so that it does not appear by default. Close the properties dialog box and then delete the optional section. Now preview or run the form. ...

  • question about Edit:Undo

Alright, i dont know if this iis a retarded question, or not. But, sometimes in infopath, when I hit undo (ctrl z), I takes me back one step, however, right now I am hitting undo and it is taking me all the way back to my last save point. I cant figure out how to go back just one step at a time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Re: "spontaneous" instantiation of a repeating table

problem fixed. For me at least, it was the result of a poor database design. I had it set up so that the parent table was an optional section, and at the same time, you did not need to enter information into the parent table to enter info into the child table. i created new relationships with the parent table of the parent table (grandparent ...

  • "spontaneous" instantiation of a repeating table

I have a parent table, Medical_Exam, and probably 6 child tables, Knee_Exam, Elbow_Exam, etc. The Medical_Exam table has a one-to-many relationship with each on of the child tables. And the child tables are not related to eachother. In Infopath, each child table is in a repeating section. By default, there is no entry for the child exams. ...
