Last » Re: Infopathform in a document library Hello bjorn80, For this you would most likely be better off using a button with rules to submit to a library for "Save As". You can create submit data connections to each location, an then display the button based on something like "form stats" to use the correct save as location. The reason for this is that you can control ... To fix the issue, right click > table properties for all related pieces and check the padding and margins. If anything is auto, set to 0 or the desired amount. The ... I've attached an example to show you how to evaluate the time. Hope that helps! Bre Posted to General (Forum) by Bre Huston on 05-05-2015 Re: drop down casscading Hello DDEBBABY, I think you're on the right track, but may have misunderstood my direction. You should have one SharePoint list, with a column for each of the values you'd like to cascade. I would then change your dropdowns to text fields, and have a rule on the Subject area to set the subject area expert to the value where the ... On the submit button you would then use conditions to set an error message, and not run remaining rules if the condition is met. As an added extra, you may want to highlight the blank fields with formatting so that if the error message is not ... You would want to set it based on the change in the dropdown. If the value is not needed in the form, you may be better off using a secondary data source for the dropdown field, and setting the field in the main data source to the display name value. Hope that helps! Bre Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by Bre Huston on 04-21-2015 Re: drop down casscading Hello DDEBBABY, It looks like the subject area is actually a list embedded in your form. I would suggest modifying one of the lists in your data connection to contain each piece of information as a column to create relational data. Then when a Subject area is chosen, you can cascade to set the values where you have a matching subject area. Hope ... I would replace files after the upload to DBXL. Hope that helps, Bre Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by Bre Huston on 04-17-2015 Re: Editing a list with a form Hello Guy, You'll need a data connection to your list to pull data in, and then the CAML method for New or Update in the method field in the secondary data source. You will also need to make sure you are using the SharePoint ID column to submit and/or update your items. Thanks! Bre Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Bre Huston on 04-17-2015 Re: possible to submit form to library and email someone after particular table has been completed? Hello Scott, The scenario you're describing can be done, but in a slightly different way. I would use a helper field in your form called something along the lines of "FormStatus". When a user clicks a submit button n a particular view, the button should set the FormStatus to match the correct stage of the form, and then submit to ...
