They are just sections added below other sections, within a larger section. This was done because multi-level collapsing was required, so the large section can be collapsed as well as the sub-sections. Each section has a table inside it and in between sections are table rows for the headers. What I ended up doing ... Posted to General (Forum) by AlexK on 02-20-2013 Can't get rid of large whitespace between sections I have setup my form with rules to model collapsible sections upon clicking a button. The problem is, when the form loads and by default all the sections start out collapsed, a massive whitespace area exists which seems to be the same size as the sum of all the uncollapsed sections (uncollapsing them fills this void). Obviously a user doesn't ... Posted to General (Forum) by AlexK on 02-19-2013 Re: Prevent the Number field from auto-inserting commas I was able to figure out how to do it, even though there seems to be no documentation on this feature throughout the world wide internets. Anyway, here are the steps: 1. Right-click the number box (not from the Fields section, but on the form itself) and select "Text Box Properties" 2. Under the Data tab, find "Data Type" and ... Posted to General (Forum) by AlexK on 02-11-2013 Re: Prevent the Number field from auto-inserting commas My data type is set to Whole Number already and I do not want the display to show commas. I'm not really worried about how it is represented underneath, I just don't want to see the commas on the form. Posted to General (Forum) by AlexK on 02-11-2013 Prevent the Number field from auto-inserting commas For an InfoPath browser form submitting to a SharePoint 2010 form library, how can I stop the auto-formatting of a Number field from inserting commas into numbers >= 1000? For example, if a field was for an ID or a credit card number, commas would not be appropriate. Posted to General (Forum) by AlexK on 02-05-2013 How to make a repeating section default to zero items Is it possible to make a repeating section have a default of zero items instead of one? My business requirements mandate that certain sections of my form start with no instances of that section, but more can be added from there. Posted to General (Forum) by AlexK on 02-04-2013 Re: Publishing to Form Library but no Forms show in Library I was able to resolve it by having my InfoPath create a Content Type for the site instead of publish directly to the Library. Having it attached to the Library itself is dangerous since if something goes wrong on the SharePoint side, you are out of luck with your InfoPath template as well. Now I can create as many Libraries as I want and re-use my ... Posted to General (Forum) by AlexK on 02-01-2013 Publishing to Form Library but no Forms show in Library I configured my InfoPath 2010 Form to publish to a SharePoint 2010 Form Library, but after clicking submit when creating a new item, no items show in the Library itself. This is not a problem with views since I am looking at All Items (and I freshly created the Form Library as a test), and my Submit button is set up properly. What is going on here?
