You can add some code that conditions on e.Operation. this is discussed in the SDK and in our book. For example, page 31. Try this:
If (''Delete'' <> e.Operation) Then
Return
End If

You can also check Tools-Data Connections to explore your data connections. Or you can extract the form files and look at the Data Objects defined in the XSF.

Hi Potpourri,
It means that you are choosing the secondary data object called ''CityList''. See the SDK and also the xsf for info on what data objects you have.

Hope this helps!

There are many paths to enlightenment. Can you please describe your scenario?

Note: is the behavior of the Windows date parsing code (NLS), and the behavior will occur in many different applications.

Hi MG!
Welcome to the board. For examples of how to use dates with jscript open up any one of the 25 Samples that ship with InfoPath in the designer and extract the form files. Look at the script.js files. Should have lots of good info in there for you.

Problem
There is no intrinsic way to lock an InfoPath form to prevent someone from opening it in design mode or using a zip utility. Do you have any suggestions as to how this might be done?
Solutions
Yes, the protect option in InfoPath is a bit flimsy and doesn#%92t prevent someone from cracking the form. This leads to a host of privacy issues. ...

One more from MS (with feeling):
You could probably make a case that this is a bug because there is no such thing as Feb 31 and we should parse this correctly before we serialize it. For example, if I meant to type 3/31, but typed 2/31 instead, I won#%92t get an error and will probably be surprised later when I get 3/3 instead of 3/31.

More info from MS:
A little more detail on how this is stored internally.
The programming language stores the date as an integer relative to some arbitrary past date (something like January 1, 1976). The friendly representation is according to a serialization and deserialization scheme.
The serialization schema is roughly ...
