  • Re: Is it possible to store attachments in a new folder everytime a form is submitted?

You can use the CreateFolder method of the SharePoint Lists web service to create your new folders. Then use qRules ChangeSubmitUrl to point the SharePoint Library submit data connection to your newly created folder. Finally, submit and you're done!

  • Re: Repeating Tables - Clear rows

Well, as I said, qRules will allow you to easily do precisely what you describe without writing and maintaining your own code, and it provides a whole bunch of other features to fill in the "gaps" in InfoPath's functionality.  SharePoint, etc. will treat a qRules form like a form with code, so if that is a limiting factor, ...

  • Re: Repeating Tables - Clear rows

Thanks for the quick response Jimmy. I think I had stumbled across that after posting. It does work, but I would like it to just kind of reset the table back to one row. Guess there is no way to really do that, so...Thanks for the reply. We can put code into our forms, so until there is a better solution out there, I will just have to come up with ...

  • Export Excel data into an already created form template

I am fairly new to InfoPath 2007, and have created a form that is connected to a SharePoint 2007 document library. My team is currently using the form to create a ticket process for tracking projects and requests within our department. Is there a way to pull the informationI have in an Excel document and make mulitple forms in the document library ...

  • Re: Repeating Tables - Clear rows

There is a codeless hack you can use to delete all of the rows in a repeating group: http://alecpojidaev.wordpress.com/2009/09/10/how-to-remove-initial-row-in-repeating-tables/ Aside from that, the only other options are to write code, or you can use qRules, which lets you remove all the rows (or all except the first row if you ...

  • Repeating Tables - Clear rows

Okay, so I was wondering if anyone has had to do this...What I have is 3 sections that each contain a repeating table in them. Based on a selection from a previous question, each section will show up one at a time. If the user adds data to either section and changes their selection above, I want the section to be set back to normal. For all the ...

  • Re: copytable - Failed to add copied rows to destination table.

Thank you for your advice.  I have added another Group at the top level  and moved my StatmentsGroup into it.  I have also put that at the end of the data structure.  I have updated the copy table command and it is now working.  Much appreciated.  I will try and remember for the future. • Re: Get number of months in Decimals between two Date Pickers then round up.

You can use the codeless date diff trick or qRules (which is somewhat simpler) to get the number of days between two dates: http://alecpojidaev.wordpress.com/2008/12/30/infopath-codeless-programming-walkthrough-2/ Then you can take the result, divide it by 30, and use the round() function to round it.

  • Get number of months in Decimals between two Date Pickers then round up.

With the awsome blogs in this forum, I was able to get the number of months between 2 date pickers as described below: 12 * (substring(PERIOD THRU DATE, 1, 4) - substring(PERIOD FROM, 1,4)) + (substring(PERIOD THRU DATE, 6, 2) - substring(PERIOD FROM, 6, 2)) But the results I need are months in decimals and then round up if greater ...

  • Re: copytable - Failed to add copied rows to destination table.

It's very likely that the issue is that the StatementsGroup repeating group has another sibling node (PrintGroup) after it.  Ideally, a repeating group should have a parent all to itself, but that probably is not an option at this stage of your form development, so would it be possible to move the PrintGroup node above StatementsGroup or ...
