Hi,
I have a master/detail setup between a repeating table and a repeating section. I want to only add new items using the master table.
I expect this to work:
On repeating table (Master):
Allow users to insert and delete the sections: Check
Show insert button and hint text: Check
On repeating section (Detail):
Allow users to insert ...

I have now resolved the issue...there was some .js code that set the folder URL of my data connection to the folder if it wasn't the current month - how stupid do I now feel!!
However, I now have another problem - when I move all the forms out of the folders, update them (it saves to the right place now) I can no longer query the ...

Thanks fo rthe help Patrick - I will most definitely heed your disclamer as a valid resource.
I did however figure it out - I was making it a little too complicated and found out that InfoPath has a lot more smarts built into it that I had anticipated. I guess I'm too much of a SQL-weenie :) - If I just use the reference to the secondary ...

Thanks.

The reality is that forms change a lot and there needs to be an abstraction layer (Web service) to handle the mapping when things change. ...

First of all, I would like to apologize for not seeing the reply in March.
Secondly, I would like to thank Prophet for the very interesting post and recommendation to install the SP.
I'm not sure why SharePoint 2010 browser forms do not read/display attachment fields saved in 2007 but it could have something to do with the object ...

This is not an answer, but I am experiencing the same challenge. The file attachment control works in the form filler and as a published form as long as it doesn't have to be published as an admin approved form. Once it is approved as an admin approved form, then the file attachment control works for attaching a file, but displays ...

I am working with Sharepoint 2007, Infopath 2010, and Access 2010.
I have many sources that need to provide data input to our Access database, which, unfortunately, has to reside in a secured location that only a few administators have access to.
Our proposed solution is to use several sharepoint lists as a front-end, since all users have ...
