It is a preventative. If you set your versioning to update existing XML, you shouldn't get schema validation errors in the filler, but browser forms are pickier. What kind of schema changes did you make?

Can I either see your form or see a screenshot of the schema? I'd think if the calc'd value is in a repeating table or section bound to my:SubTaskDeliverables the formula count(preceding-sibling::my:SubTaskDeliverables) + 1 would be correct.
-
Is the formula in a calculated value? or is it a default value in a field? I think your XPath here needs to either be count(../preceding-sibling::my:SubTaskDeliverables) + 1 or count(preceding-sibling::my:SubTaskDeliverables) but I'd need to see your form to be sure.

I don't think you can prevent a user from selecting other days - you could add validation rules that mark the field invalid if not the 15th, or rules that reset it to blank if not the 15th.

I'm wondering if the difference is because I'm using IP 2013. At any rate, as I was trying different things with yours - it stopped doing what it was doing. Which is also weird. Can ...

Hi - your screenshots don't show in your original post - do you have access to the SharePoint ULS logs, or a SharePoint Admin who could get you information on the error if you give her the correlation ID? I think, in general, we see a 5566 when loop back check is not disabled and we are trying to use SharePoint web services in a browser ...

Hey, this stuff has a learning curve - you are doing great & I'm glad you got it. :) Hope you can make the webinar next week - this thread has given me some good ideas for things to cover, so you have helped me as well.

I didn't see the missing single quote, thanks! It is hard to see, but you can see there is a single quote before the closing double quote after the = sign. We need one on either side. See how the error message returns the xpathsrc, and we have a single quote on one side of May 2016? Oh! and we are missing a closing bracket ...

Wow, I see what you mean. Later today I'll try to compare this to a different list form & see if I can understand what's going on.

In a reply, you should see tabs. One of them is Options. Click on that, and you can upload a file.
