May I know how you are specifying which document to update? or is this already fixed by setting each submit to a File Name - where File Name is equivalent to the previous month? The first argument defines the text string, the second argument defines the starting position, and the third argument defines how many characters to include. So if the function today() returns a value of 2014-02-04, the value for substring(today(), 0,8) now will be: 2014-02 Where ... Hi DaveThomas, I'm not sure if this is possible with InfoPath alone, fortunately, I found a blog post on How to Enqueue Submits While Offline. Would it be possible for you to add a Lookup column to SharePoint? This should display the matching Display Name to the internal value. Hope this helps. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by donstephen on 02-03-2014 Re: Infopath 2010 - Temporary save pending full completion Hi Barry, Yes, this is possible. You can make use of qRules' ClearErrors command which allows you to clear the error table in order to allow submit even if some fields are not valid. Pease check this blog post for more information. Hope this helps. Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by donstephen on 02-02-2014 Re: infopath save filename like last month Hi zaca011, If you are using today() in your formula, then it would return the date today. What you may need to do here is to substitute today() with a field where it will specify the file name of which ever document you wish to update. Your formula should look similar to this: substring(field1, 0, 8) I suggest using another control such as a ... Hi rlntel, You may use a count(row) formula for counting the number of existing rows (where row is the repeating group). As for the additional control, could you explain it a bit further? Or simply attach a copy of your form so I could get a clearer idea.
