I think this was posted in another thread as well. Anyway, you can write .NET managed code to do this or jscript code. There are several ways to do it in .NET code. One way is described in chapter 2 and by Scott in the other thread on this topic. The JScript way will require that you have a full trust form. You can also write a Active Directory ...

Hi Mrázek,
What do you mean by the InfoPath refresh button. I've never heard of that. Can you be more specific about what functionality you are looking to create? Sorry for my confusion.
Thanks!

Hi Cladon, and welcome to our humble forum!
Now this is a great idea! We should be doing this! It shouldn't be hard but depends on whether Snitz supports xml submits. Do you know much about the Snitz interface? We will investigate.

Hmmm. I don't know. Seems like some kind of SharePoint permissions issue. Do you have the blabla.net in your Trusted Sites or Local Intranet sites? Is it in the same domain as the site where you published the form? Lastly, another more distant possibility is that there's something about the Transmittals query that is changing and causing ...

One more thing - you won't need a web service to do this, but you will have locking issues with the WO forms if two people try to modify at the same time. You should consider using our Database Accelerator (see Downloads-Free-Database Accelerator) for a web servicve tool that supports this and other scenarios out-of-the-box. :) Happy ...

Hi Fab,
You can use an id in the WO form and when they click on a button in the repeating table, you can load the WO form in a separate InfoPath form and support editing of it, you can also just use import to load the WO form into the main DOM (or a secondary DOM), do some interactions on it (via view controls) and then write some code to save the ...

Hi again Smitty,
You need to install IIS on the box. I know you can do this on WinXP Pro, but I forget the details. I'll ask Jim to respond and make sure to get the setup.txt fixed tonight. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Carla and welcome to the board!
Yes this can be done and is a common practice. You need to provide an OnSubmit or OnSave handler and set the name of the file in code. There should be an example of how to do this in chapter 10 of my book. If you don't have that, it's pretty straightforward. Check out examples in the SDK, or ping us back, and ...

Hi Tracy!
Just add a button to the form that adds or subtracts a big number to the date field. You can play around with the number. Then, clicking on the button will jump the date forward or back. I'd start with a year but I forget if the units are days or something smaller. Anyway, you'll be taking 365 times something. :) Good luck.

Hi again Rilliam,
Creating a local folder and saving attachments no doubt requires full trust. Why not just use a database instead? You'd have to write code to programmatically stream your attachments out as files (or maybe there is a way in SP1 to reference them as objects...).
