Hey Sam.
No, no such control. There may be some custom active X controls that you could add to do this but nothing in there by default or planned.
InfoPath if for collecting and routing information and is not a reporting tool, but obviously some people try.
Commonly I push all of my form data to SQL and then use Web Reports or SQL to ...

You need to Query the SP data connection so that their is some data to browse.
The same way you have to Query the SQL one.
That is why the error says there is not an object.

This would be to start an email in there defautl browser. I beleive you can embed a hyperlink in the body or subject.
Since you are naming the file and submitting it you can pass that URL into the this hyperlink via concatenation.

You can parse a text string in a field.
Substring-before(substring-after(textfield, "www."), ".com")
Obviously this has issue with non .com urls but could be a way of extracting or identifying the basic domain name and then placing it in an associated hyperlink.

Yah you want to look at the translate function. I am guessing if you search on it you will find some examples.
With that you can translate all upper case to lower case and then get your synchronization.

Hey Alex
You could create a web service or buy one for 250.00 that is installable
http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/ADWebService.aspxThere are code samples for getting at it from windows.
The web service is nice especially if you have remote / VPN users since you want their domain authentcated credentials not their local user identity.

Exisitng forms are dependent on the template they were created from.
If the template is changed, fields removed or renamed the exisitng XML no longer is compatible with the template.
You need to add comment back in and just leave it in the form, even if it is not in the view to preserve backward compatibility.

Can you dedicate a control for a hyperlink?
You can create a repeating list of hyperlinks.
Have the first field they enter the URL and then have a Hyperlink control that uses the text they inserted for its link.
Otherwise I think you are stuck in the situation you described.

InfoPath email is all client side so it is probably something with their outlook or possibly connectivity to Exchange and the GAL for name resolution.
