Getting a calculated column from SharePoint 2007 onto an Infopath 2007 form?
Yo experts
I am trying to get a calculated column from SharePoint onto an InfoPath form, but I am having some trouble.
I am able to get every other column type other than the calculated one.
Is there any work around?
Thanks :)

Happy Friday to you!
Again - if you already have been using this form, be careful with data source changes! You don't want to delete data from your old XML with your new template.....

"InfoPath has no rule actions that will allow you to add an instance of a repeating field or group" - This is what I was trying to do... but you helped me see the light.
I don't need 2 sets of repeating data, I'm such a fool! Creating one repeating group with 2 fields, one named "email address" and the other ...

Yes! That's great! I'm learning a lot about the siblings these days.

So, you'd have a repeating group that has two fields - email and manager_role. The table on the form only shows the email field - you don't have to display the manager_role field. I think ...

In other words, you want the button to only be enabled on the last section? If so, I believe the expression would be:
count(following-sibling::my:VenueRepeatingSection) != 0

Hello Hilary,
"can you help me understand why the data needs to be copied into another repeating group" - IT might not have to, it's the only way I can imagine doing it. I need to get 2 sets of data from the "operator". I need the email addresses of the people that need to be notified, and I need those ...

Thanks,
I got it to work with - count(../my:VenueRepeatingSection) = 1
Now I have to figure out how to disable a button if a following section is present.

OK so have you thought of having your own "Save" button on the form, that submits to a data connection? That way they won't try to save the form as the same name.
My steps when I do this are as follows:
Create a field named FileName
Create a Form Open rule
IF the FileName field is blank, fill it in ...

Sorry - how about:
count(my:myFields/my:Venues/my:VenueRepeatingSection) = 1
Just count all instances and if there is only one, disable.
