Well, that isn't quite what I said - it can also be done with form rules and CAML - if you check out the link from my earlier post that may help you if you don't write code.

Hi - so it sounds like you need to submit your repeating data to another list (i.e., not just promoted to your library). Options are code, qRules or CAML - there is nothing out of the box for this. Here's a post on this forum that outlines an option for using CAML for this: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/26246.aspx

I've attached it - it is just your form with a new connection added to one of my servers.

I did not use UDCX, if that is the question. For the lists data connection I used http://server/sites/mysubsite/_vti_bin/lists.asmx - Edited to add, no, there is no code needed - this is just a simple web service query. I don't understand why it doesn't seem to work for you. I'd encourage you to try it in preview while running Fiddler ...

I'm out of suggestions, I'm afraid - the web service works as anticipated for me using my SharePoint server. I guess I checked against 2010 instead of 2013, not sure which you are using. You may want to try running Fiddler while testing in preview to verify the web service is called and see if you can get more information in the response.

I'm sorry. I don't understand what you are saying. I'm just suggesting you preview the form, enter the URL for an existing file in one of your SharePoint libraries, and see if the web service successfully checks the file out.

What happens if you try in preview? I just added a data connection to the lists service on one of my servers, drug the fields onto my form, previewed, executed the data connection - and the file checked out. From your screenshots, it appears you are using the web service correctly. Maybe try in preview and run Fiddler and see if you can get more ...

You would have to add a rule to delete the node itself. This is completely normal behavior - you need to implement logic for this. You can use the qRules delete command - you'll need to use a concat statement, and count the preceding siblings so you know which row to delete - like concat("Delete ...

What is the rule on your button? Just queries the web service? Any chance I can see your form? You can attach it under the options tab in a reply.

Open InfoPath Designer. Select "SharePoint List" for the template type. Enter the URL for the list ... at some point in the wizard you will see a checkbox for managing multiple items - select that checkbox. Here is a blog post with screenshots: ...
