Just adding that we discussed in email and it turns out that it was a data connection running on load that was making the form slow to open.
-
Right - if they are just pasting data into the list, then the form rules won't apply. But on open in your List B form you could check and see if there is a customer reference number and query for the List A data and populate your fields - just put the logic in the form load rules.

Hi! So - the URL you are seeing on the compatibility is the URL for forms services (InfoPath browser form support) on your server. That is an expected thing - when you publish, the form is checked against forms services to verify it is valid.
-
Well - you say you've removed all the data connections - but this is a list form? so it must still have its main data connection? are you querying for items on load?

Any chance I could see a copy of the template? You can attach it under the options in a reply.

I think if you update to InfoPath 2013 this will work. Have you tried that?
-
Right click the downloaded form and select "design". Or open InfoPath Designer, and open the template in design mode from there.

Hi - I think you meant to attach a copy of your form? Or you could send it to me... I think that you may be saying that you have a view of the form set to read-only, is that correct? Currently in FormsViewer we don't have the ability to set a file attachment control to read only. You could use SaveToSharePoint for your attachments, however, ...

Is this still happening? On-prem or SharePoint Online?

I think as long as SharePoint is set to allow you to query the user profile service in browser forms, this should still work. GetCommonMemberships is available in the user profile service in SharePoint Online still, so it seems like it would still be in 2013 / 2016.
