That's a lot of work and requires code and that code won't work in the InfoPath 2007 browser object model (nor InfoPath 2010 for that matter). Instead, why not just change your secondary data source to get the list of people in a repeating XML structure. Then, you can just copy the person from the list ... Shawncho, there is definitely no limitation to opening 2007 forms in 2010, so I don't know what the issue is here. I only use Infopath 2010, but I still have clients and solutions where everything is built in 2007. There is no problem with opening and interacting with a 2007 Filler form in the 2010 Filler. I can also say I never ... Hello warrtalon, I hope you are still responding to this board. First, I would like to thank you for the numerous times your advice has helped me with an InfoPath issue. I have never posted before, because I always seem to be able to find the answer somewhere out there. Anyways, this is the first time I am posting. My question may seem dumb, ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 09-20-2011 Extremely new to Infopath. Advice needed on submitting data. Hi, I am just starting with Infopath and would like advice on the best way to start. I want to create a form with 2 sections. The top section retrieves data from a SQL server database table. The bottom section I want the user to input several new fileds of data and then submit the top and bottom section's data back to the SQL table. Any ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by gidsy on 09-20-2011 Repeating Table Date Field Validation Hi, I'm working on a project that requires me to have a repeating table with two date pickers: StartDate and EndDate. I was wondering how I would go about ensuring that the dates entered aren't within the range of the other date ranges on the form. As far as the logic is concerned I believe I need the condition to go off when ... But it looks like what I missed before was the quotes around the ' because when I do it like "'" it now works. I have several data connections, the main connectioned query worked perfectly, but the secondary one was where I was having ... Hello - I'm a brand new user of Infopath and Sharepoint... I created an Infopath form, published it to a Sharepoint, and then put the URL into a hyperlink in a word document so that we can click on it and launch the form. Not everyone has InfoPath installed, so under Tools, Form Options, Compatibility, I selected the box that says ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by ColletteB on 09-20-2011 Re: Qrules ModifySQLQuery and ExecuteSQLQuery commands I'm a little OCD, so I just tried this. And my concat looks like:concat("ModifySqlQuery /dsname=GenStates /where=where StateId = '", field1, "'") As you can see, I'm not using parenthesis around my where clause, and I don't have double quotes around my column name. This worked in my environment. However, ...
