Hi Steve and welcome to the forums!
It sounds like this is a perfect scenario for our Database Accelerator! We have created countless forms that follow this exact scenario. With DBXL (our acronym for Database Accelerator) you can have each row in the repeating section be a Document and then provide buttons to edit and delete. If you create a ...

Hi Sebastian,
The best way to do this is to use InfoPath 2007's UDCs. If this is unavailable you could try changing the data connections in code depending on where the form is being opened from. I don't know the exact syntax and I'm away from my dev box right now, but it'd go something like this: Put this code in the OnLoad. ...

Console.WriteLine(''Reading the contents from the file'');
StreamReader s = File.OpenText(''Mytext.txt'');

Console.WriteLine(read);
}
s.Close();

Hi Viju,
I don't know if this is worth the effort. The only thing I can think of doing is adding a reference to the Windows Forms class library and then creating and popping your own dialog box. I've never done this myself but I've heard of it being done.
Let us know if you figure it out!

Hi tch_hp and welcome to the forums!
This should be pretty trivial, try this statement:
thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode( ''/my:myFields/my:OverviewUpdate'' ).text = ''true'';
You'll have to update the XPath to match your schema exactly, but this should do the trick.

Another easier way to perform this logic is to use mutliplication. If you set your checkboxes to set as 0/1 instead of Yes/No then you can use A * B * C to determine if all are set to true. If all are 1 then output will be 1 (true), if any are 0, the output will be 0 (false).
Hope this helps!

Hi Accesswang, and welcome to the forums!
I beleive you must create the Main DOM of your form based on a DB schema in order to submit, so for your situation to work you'd have to recreate the form in this manner. Otherwise, you could try out our awesome DBXL product that does shredding from any XML schema (i.e. your Main DOM) into a SQL ...

Hi Matt Brown,
What you're going to have to do here is have either a datbase or an XML document available over the network that stores the previously used number. Then, each time the PO form is opened it will lock the DB/XMLdoc, increment the number by 1, and then use it in the form. I think the easiest method to set this up would be a DB. ...

I'm terrible sorry about mixup - I have edited my original post to remove the erronous ''Mr.''
I still don't understand what you are tying to do here - could you describe an example of the behavior you are trying to model?

Hi Alexander,
I haven't heard of anyone using the VB Scripts editor from Excel. I think the only two options are Visual Studio for managed code or Microsoft Script Editor for unmanaged code. Visual Studio is pretty awesome - I wouldn't want to use anything else!
