Hi Kip,
Why are you adding 3 posts for this. One ought to do no? Anyway, I am a bit confused by your description. I assume you are trying to connect to SQL form the InfoPath form and write the partnumber to a column in a row in a table in the database. Is that correct? Do you have a relational schema for your SQL database? How are you creating a ...

Hi Reg,
Yeah, you don't want to ''restrict'' the form if it is using a Web service. My guess is that this may be the main latency on load. To test this, you could go to Tools-Form Options-Data Connections; modify the data connection so that it didn't query on load (last page of wizard) and try to open the form again. If this results in a big ...

It's security not protected. Go to Tools->Form Options->Security, disable the auto security thing, and check Restricted.

Hi Boštjan and welcome to the board,
I'm terribly sorry about missing your post. We typically sign XML data using the built-in InfoPath support which does not require all of the code you have above. My guess is that it's a difference between System.XML (.NET 2.0 version) and MSXML4 (what InfoPath uses). This can be tricky to debug. If you'd like ...

Hi Reg,
Various things. Update check is probably the main latency with the net if the form is local. Update feature has to check the version number of the form to see if a newer version exists and, if so, download it.
How big is your XML file? Does your form populate from any external data sources?
