There are a few bugs in InfoPath Designer. I can't promise you that we can ''resurrect'' your forms, but we have ways to fix them. Anyway, send these to ''support'' at infopathdev.com, and we'll take a look.

Hi Reg,
So, the policy for users is that they cannot install the form locally. I wonder if your company policy is to limit them from installing to C:\Program Files\... or from writing to the registry? Do you know? If it's the former, you may be able to specify a different location to get the install to succeed.
There is another option and that ...

We have done this with code but unfortunately it requires Full Trust to call Print programmatically. Another option is using digital signatures since InfoPath include image generation for them. That doesn't require Full Trust but will require code to programmatically sign the form and extract the image and attach it to e-mail. Also, your users ...

Hi again,
There's a regform option for making it Fully Trusted. I think it's ''/T Yes'' or something. There should be the same parallel method for the js script, but I'm not exactly sure. You are using regform, so try specifying ''/T Yes'' and see if that works.

Very interesting ... ok, well, I think this is a problem with either the way you are running regform or the security you are requesting. Can you run it non-Full Trust or was that a requirement? The real question is why do users not have access. I'm assuming that C:\Program Files\InfoPath Form Templates\Form.xsn is the location of where the form ...

I'm confused about the ''Specified URL is not local'' issue. Just create an MSI and put the MSI on the web site. Users install this into their local cahce and run it from their cache. It subverts auto-update, but it will give you a very fast solution.

Hi Greg and welcome to our forum,
It's the same as Internet Explorer's. I'm not sure how easy it is to modify these but they are in the Internet Explorer cache. Check out Tools->Options->General and click on Internet Options. Select the Content Tab and click AutoComplete. The 2nd checkbox is for Forms. This is what controls AutoComplete for ...

Hi Dave,
Yes, you will need to install the SDK. It's the 3rd link in the left hand pane of ''Essential Downloads'' on our site.

Hi Tatopitta!
Unfortunately, screentips don't work that way in InfoPath. I don't even think you can get the selection event. You might want to consider using the taskpane or a popup HTML dialog.

Hi Dave,
This is the extranet scenario which has been much discussed. You can search for my posts on extranet. The solution is to add code to the internal solution that reopens the ''master'' solution with the data for the form. Create an msi using regform for the extranet solution. Let me know if you can't find the relevant posts. ...
