Hello Support, I have an infopath form that reads from a list.  The list is user data, such as Name, Title, EmpNumber, Address, etc...  .  I had a few rows for testing but just received the entire document, and converted to a SharePoint list.  Now InfoPath is locking up while trying to read in the entire list before doing ...

  • Re: InfoPath 2010 questions? Ask here.

Clayton,   I forgot to add, the data that is 'missing' might be due to the fact that some of the fields on my new form now exist in a repeating table....  they didn't on the old form. I've just noticed this now....  but still unsure how to get the data to show on all of the current/approved forms. I've tested ...

  • Re: Count dates in a specific sharepoint list

What does the text in the secondary data source look like? dClassDate, as a date, will store its data like this: 2011-10-31T10:18:32 What does the SharePoint data look like? You may need to use some string functions in the formula to make the two fields have the same format - if ShP is returning: 2011-10-31 12:00 am for example, you'll ...

  • Re: Count dates in a specific sharepoint list

Hilary, I dragged the datasource, SharePoint Training(Secondary), Class_Date to the InfoPath form and I was able to view the data in InfoPath and also in the Web Form.  Strange that the InfoPath form sorts the list descending and the Web form is sorted ascending.  Since I know that I can see the data from the SharePoint list, how do I ...

Drag your data source in InfoPath that is connected to your SharePoint list onto your form temporarily so you can see if you are getting any data.

I don't think I ever imagined asking this - but what about Access? Does everyone have that?

  • Re: Count dates in a specific sharepoint list

Jimmy, looking at your function, it seems it should work but I get a value of 0.  I wonder if it would be a permission issue between the SharePoint Server and the database server.  Everything I have tried seems to fail.  I am thinking about creating a Web service to get the count for me.  I had another situation that a ...
