Okay - so you would like this data to be in an XML file instead of using SharePoint lists for this? How often will this data change?

This was in the main data source? You can see in the copy I attached that I was able to add a filter - I'm just confused about why you had an error when you tried....
-
Check field23 and MunichLastNotes - I saw they both had default values and added a filter to both defaults to exclude items where MunichStatus is blank. Where were you trying to add a filter?
-
I think so - I think you can use a substring-after function: eval(eval(Person, 'concat(substring-after(pc:AccountId, "membership|"), ";")'), "..")
-
Sure, you should be able to add a filter in the rule that is setting the value - where you picked the field for the value, there should be a filter data button - you can add a filter so that the field can't be blank - attach your form if you'd like me to give you a hand (you can attach a file under the "Options" tab in a reply).
-
Your formula is still wrong. You are not using a relative path to the AccountId node - that is why you don't get three different results. What happened if you just use "pc:AccountID" like I suggested? "eval(eval(Person, 'concat(pc:AccountId, ";")'), "..")"
-
When you set up the data connection, you should have an option for sorting (on the dialog where you select columns). I'd sort by Modified, descending - had you already tried that?
-
The URL in the command looks weird compared to what you pasted as the command you are running. Can I see a copy of your form?
-
Maybe a query on load that returns the status for the user's prior forms, sorted by Modified date descending, so that the first item in the returned data would be the last status?

In the fields task pane, find the data connection for your secondary data sources. Find the data fields. Drag the group onto the form. If this is a list form, you'll need to change the fields task pane to the advanced view.
