What do you mean that logging was not working? What were you logging? How is it failing to log? Do you mean no log entries are written? Sorry, just trying to understand why logging is not helpful. I guess I'd try setting the Office field to a property you know is working, like Department, so you can figure out if the issue is with the value ...

I tried changing the href and it just changes the path in the error. It's still TBD how long SharePoint is offline.

Hello Hilary! No, the other fields that are working are pulling in the user's Name, Department, Job Title, and one custom attribute - employee ID number. They ae all working fine.
I did try to modify the workflow to log its findings and that was not working, BUT it was populating the data in the form as we want it to. So ...

Are the other fields that are working also looking for the Office attribute from the User's profile? Are you writing log info from your workflow to narrow down what's failing? I'd probably start with that - log the Office from the profile & make sure it has a value. Is Office a promoted form property? Or just a regular list column? ...

If the template isn't available where the XML expects it - not to my knowledge. You can look at the XML in a text editor - the href in the mso-infoPathSolution processing-instruction will show you the expected template URL. But if they cleared their InfoPath cache - they won't have the new template cached either. You could try changing ...

This will depend on where the control is that sets the editable flag from no to yes - is it in the repeating table? Is the editable flag also in the repeating table? See attached simple sample - save locally, right click and select design and then preview. It's pretty basic, but should give the general idea :)

Thank you for this information, it works like a charm. I have a follow up question. As rows are added to the repeating table and set to read-only, is there a way to flag one row to make it editable? I tried changing the editable flag from no to yes but it makes all of the rows editable. Thanks in ...

The ones that get the error point to an old URL/Template from where we originally had to move it. They have opened the form after we had moved it because it happened awhile back.
Any suggestions on how to get it working while SharePoint is offline? Or is that not a possibility? They just need to fill out the form and be able to save a local ...
