Hi Michael,
Can you attach a screenshot of the schema?
(You can add attachments via the Options tab when replying)
Thanks.

The database templates have a locked schema; you cannot add or remove nodes or groups. Notice that the People Picker creates its own locked schema in the main data source. There's probably a conflict there: you can't add a locked schema into a locked schema. :)

thanks that worked, but generated a new error, when I tried to attach file:
Error: The required attributes are missing: 'qRulesFilename' and 'qRulesLink'.
The fields are not missing in the form.....
The form is uploaded to sharepoint

This should work:
(original formula) * not((criticalField1 | criticalField2)[. = 0])

Jimmy/Scott, just a final quick question that I've come across, using this attached form as an example. For instance I will have 2 critical questions with a score of either '0' or '2', would it be possible to use that formula in the total? So basically, the user would go through and select the values from the other dropdowns ...

Hi JTownson,
Yes, this is what Content Types were created for. Publish both forms as content types. During the last screen of the publish dialog, you can map the separate fields to the same Site Columns. Easy to do! :)

You are welcome Joey. And Jimmy, I ended up using a variation of what you sent today to solve a new need for a new form I was building today. Very timely!
Best!

Well, you could add some data validation for this, I suppose - check that the years and months match (using substring functions to get the separate pieces of the date) - but it won't prevent the user from being able to pick a different date - just prevents him / her from submitting. You could also reset the field to blank if the date selected ...

Thanks Jimmy, that formula works great, also thanks Scott for your help in this issue too.
